“Done right, casting is an invisible act. The choice of an actor should seem obvious in retrospect. No one but #EddieRedmayne could have played #StephenHawking” - #tbt to a fab piece with top UK casting director #NinaGold on the art & business of casting 🎬https://t.co/uPCDEVZpZ3
Beautiful gesture outside a Manchester mosque today.

As a tv director, I’m not concerned with actors knowing the lines at meetings. For me it’s all about their nous, suitability and the read.
As an actor, I feel there’s a pressure to be polished (too soon) over having an understanding of the role.
Directors need to look beyond.
Tech day for #TheStretch.... shit the bed! These actors, this production team, this writer. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about sharing a piece of theatre; important, contemporary, passionate, visceral.... & IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!! https://t.co/DHZJeYYMwU @53two
Had such a good time shooting the workshops for #RedRightHandyman
A feature film, fully improvised and I can’t wait to get craicing 😄
