@ororoswind The thing with the MCU X-Men films is that they'll likely be evergreen, Marvel will keep making them and when actors want to leave, there's always more mutants to replace those characters. Kitty is likely going to be one of those replacements down the line.

@ellieeldritchh Kitty Pryde strikes me as a character best introduced in the second trilogy when a few of the main actors will likely want to move on. Jubes is quite easily slotted in anywhere while Kitty makes for a good audience POV character.

@NotClone777 @amadaoffor Part of the prep would have been establishing her as his heir without question. Essentially if Viserys had done his duty properly, there would be no DOTD. Rhaenyra's main mistake is not sticking it out in King's Landing and thus allowing the Hightowers to snatch control.

@Cajun_Ragin0 Having her be X-23 in the new X-Men film would be messy, I think. I like the idea of her taking up the Wolverine mantle and operating in the MCU, but I think the X-Men should be a fresh start. New team, new actors etc.

@NotClone777 @amadaoffor By that I mean that Viserys failed in his duties to prep his heir. Rhaenyra wasn't taught how to govern and what we see her doing is basically trying to imitate Viserys on a surface level and it doesn't work since he was a peacetime king and she's a wartime queen.

@Fenrirtheicewo1 Honestly, we know so little about the earlier avatars outside of Wan, and now Sonam that there's a lot of room to do stuff like this tbh. After all it was canon that Avatar Wan's story wasn't widely known, it would be easy for other early avatars to fall into obscurity.

@amadaoffor Also Rhaenyra's still literally grieving the two sons she's still recently lost while she's ruling King's Landing. She's not mad, she's in over her head and grieving.

@amadaoffor Dany's madness was badly done in GOT. It wasn't set up properly at all and the writers treated it like a switch instead of a slow descent. Rhaenyra's not mad, either, she's a victim of not being properly prepped for the throne she was promised.

@YourPalRags She literally kills no one, were you not paying attention in the cinema? You give more grace to Loki than you do to Jean when her story hasn't even truly begun. After one film, Jean is on the path to redemption, after one Thor film, Loki's still the villain.
