@emaxstatman I see it as a way of the coach reminding the player how important he is to the project. It's a nudge to say okay we like you a lot but we are counting on you being the best version of yourself

@eliosalerno87 The biggest issue is the book value of some of these players. They have plummeted in actual worth since joining us but on our books they are worth a lot. But we need to accept some kind of hit in the hope they shine elsewhere and become sellable again

@khaledalnouss1 But on the flip side how many times do CBs get to their late 20's/early 30's and suddenly find another level. Barzagli springs to mind for me, not saying Tomori is that level btw. I do agree we need a younger/cheaper profile for a rotation CB though

@thedudejnr I think if you're talking 1v1 fight with a chance of leaving the fight alive/not crippled then Vermithor is probably the best opponent for Vhagar. Meleys/Caraxes can both kill Vhagar imo but not without being killed/crippled as a result of the fight

@emaxstatman It's not just Milik I'm worried about. David doesn't play well as a solo ST, and if Kolo Muani isn't effective we don't have an alternative to lead the line or partner him up front. There's a reason why Spaletti requested a target man in January
