Today, one faded flower remains (it may have been pollinated) and the other was munched on by a caterpillar. We will share news of additional buds whenever they appear. #orchid

The "Super" ghost orchid is in full bloom with four blossoms open at this time. They should last about another week or two. To see them from the boardwalk, binoculars or a scope are necessary.

Wood Storks are having some success at Lenore Island in the Caloosahatchee River and BC-29. However, this season, no wading bird nesting activity has been observed at the historic Corkscrew colony due to high water levels. Read more: https://t.co/lBws5m1J7G
