We loved exploring Google Earth today. We travelled to Antarctica, France and Australia. We even found Mr Grinling's lighthouse!

Reception were so excited this afternoon when we received a letter from Mr Grinling asking us for help 🥳 We worked together to make model lighthouses for him🗼Can't wait for him to see them!

Reception had a lovely afternoon visit from Mr Shepherd. We enjoyed learning about tempo and dynamics. We had fun singing and following along with the actions to different songs🎸🎵

We loved discussing and naming the different parts of our body this morning. We named so many parts of the body that we knocked all of our teachers socks off! 🤯🥳 #jigsawpshe

We have a community superhero in our Reception class! She spotted a fire in the local park yesterday evening and told her mum and dad. When the firefighters arrived to put the fire out, they praised her, telling her she was 'a good girl'.

This afternoon, we helped Miss Garratt to sort our books. We looked at which books were fiction and non-fiction and talked about how we knew 📖📚

This afternoon, we have enjoyed making our own bug hotels and minibeasts. We also got the chance to hold a real life locust 🦗
