The last week or so has been really scary and frustrating. I ended up in hospital with less than stellar news, told my only two options basically could lead to death. I chose to wait it out and not do an emergency surgery that would have left me on a trach permanently (1/?)
Please keep me and my family in mind during this time as it’s been difficult for all of us. Thanks again to anyone who has been supportive or following my cancer journey. 💕
Thankfully my choice seems to have paid off so far, I’m still here and still alive. I’ve been told I have a high chance of bleeding out due to an infection close to my carotid. Any prayers, positivity and support would be greatly appreciated at this time.
I haven’t been very active on social media in the last while. This year has had its ups and downs, I’m so thankful that my treatment has been working as well as it has for so long. I’m thankful for my family and all they do for me to try to get me through each day.
@Fhkn_Sammie@blackwidowttv A form of BIRTH CONTROL while undergoing one of my many rounds chemotherapy to try to protect my ovaries so I can hopefully have the chance to have kids someday. Everyone’s situation is different, not everything is about sex. Sometimes it’s about survival or quality of life.
@Fhkn_Sammie@blackwidowttv Well, this “no-brain weirdo” had to be on birth control due to having a reproductive condition called PCOS- birth control actually allowed me to function instead of being in severe pain to the point I could barely walk each month. Not to mention I had to use (1/2)
@Fhkn_Sammie@blackwidowttv And those who want to be on it to protect themselves from a pregnancy is a valid reason as well. Side effects are worth eliminating the stress of an untimely or unwanted pregnancy for some women. They should never be judged for what they choose to do with their own bodies. 💕
@Fhkn_Sammie@blackwidowttv Some people need to be on birth control as a medical necessity. Not all birth control have the same side effects, different ones work better for some than others. If you choose to avoid birth control that’s your choice, but some people absolutely need to have access to bc. 1/2
