My Mom didn’t want to die, but she understood/accepted it was happening. Once she got to hospice and took control of her death she became ready to die, at peace with it. Perhaps even happy. The space we give ourselves to contemplate death is integral to our wellbeing. #wealldie
After helping my Mom to die and cleaning up all of her stuff I’ve realized just how much of my own stuff I need to clean up! If there’s stuff you don’t want your kids to see or have to handle deal with it now. Like today.

In buddhism class we learned that attachment (to anything, including life) is a source of pain and suffering. Its something that’s hard for us humans to let go, but it’s best if we do.
