Jean’s powers had clear limits, so she smartly used her telepathy/possession to keep Peter’s breathing and vitals going while Frank got him to actual doctors. Prioritizing life support over a risky DIY extraction gave him the best shot.

When Aegon showed up with three dragons demanding submission, it wasn’t “another conquering king” to the Dornish. It was the same nightmare returning in a different name.

Meria’s “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” hits different once you see it as a people who had already paid that price once and refused to pay it again.

Dorne’s resistance feels less like stubbornness and more like historical memory with teeth.

Peter’s stress-triggered mutation + the inhibitor tech he builds isn’t just a one-movie plot device.

That tech is going to get taken/repurposed and become the foundation for mutant-suppressing collars (or even early Sentinel tech) later in the MCU.

Peter accidentally helps create the very tools that will hunt people like Jean Grey.

Syrax was never meant to be a war dragon, she’s younger, less experienced, and was kept mostly in the Dragonpit, so her aggression here does feel like a shift.

But the show has been leaning hard into the rider-dragon emotional bond.

Seeing a threat to Rhaenyra (especially after everything she’s lost) is probably enough to override her usual temperament. Protective instinct over battle experience.
