@homemakinghunny My mommy makeover involves a flowery flowy dress, trimmed nails, some cream in my hair, and a bit of eyeshadow and mascara. Just a slight upgrade from a normal day.
@OffRoadCampBoys Hahaha! This is joke right? That's like one piece of gear in one week for one hobby. We have A LOT of hobbies. That reminds me...before our next trip need another shade canopy, an extra solar panel, bigger water jug...I'm sure there's more.
My favorite way to deal with pain is to do something physically strenuous. Distracts body and mind. Gets the blood pumping. Drive, determination, disciple. Accomplishment.
I watched this worm wriggle in shock. The sun, the air, exposure.
Our digging altered its environment.
Momentary chaos.
Then, a stillness.
Calculated recalibration.
Poking around.
Testing.
Mapping the boundaries.
Seeking an alternative path.
Success.
The pattern break.
The glitch in the tightly compacted dirt.
The exact point with the least amount of friction.
A new path discovered.
Feel the chaos.
Analyze the alteration.
Test the edges.
Find clarity.
Adapt.
@brockpierson It's questionable. My husband says I sound like a robot. I said "Why, because I prefer precision of language? Or because I consistently map data points to determine the path that leads to the most efficient outcome?" He raised his eyebrow. I took that to mean yes. I might be one.
@ZubyMusic Great list. Like and engage with the positive things you want to see more of and the algo picks up on it. Feel good posts are so much better than doom, gloom, and trolling.
@MandyLSimard Absolutely plant mint. And not just one type. Get a mix. Spearmint, peppermint, chocolate mint. They each taste and grow differently. I like them in a slightly raised bed made out of logs. They spill over the side and look and smell amazing. Add in some rocks and statues for fun.
From 19-35 I worked at a casino. Money flying around. Celebrities. Parties. I blew money like it was going out of style. Went on trips. Bought things because I could. Never wanted kids. At 35 it all seemed meaningless without a family. We had our 1st when I was 36. Now we have 3 young daughters. Worth more than anything. Every day is filled with life, fun, and meaning.
@homemakinghunny The struggle is real! People that never experience this don't really understand how even the smallest amount of pressure from clothes can cause shooting pain. Keep smiling. That's more memorable than your outfit anyways.
Returning from our monthly camping trip is equal parts relief and disgust.
Relief: a real bed, long hot shower, normal size kitchen and table.
Disgust: the level of stuff we obviously don't need.
Best time to reevaluate what's actually useful and what's pointless clutter.
