Ann Arbor; beautiful campus and textbook college town, 95% of the people were extremely nice compared to SEC schools I’ve been to. Friday was one of my favorite days of all time arguably. Atmosphere at the stadium 9.4/10.
Not the result we wanted but glad I gotta be with my dad.
Islam did this.
And now Islamic immigrants who have invaded our country are trying to petition school boards to stop teaching about 9/11 in American public schools because they say it offends Muslims.
They did this and that’s why they want to erase all memories of 9/11.
Never let them forget these images.
This photo was an accident.
I was nearing 70,000 feet in a U 2, fumbling with the settings on a GoPro I had mounted in the cockpit. Somewhere in the process, I pressed the shutter.
I’m glad I did.
At that altitude, the atmosphere is mostly below you. The sky overhead has gone nearly black. You’re sealed inside a full pressure suit because the world just beyond the glass can no longer support human life.
The U 2 was designed in the 1950s and is still flying. Long wings, tiny margin for error, built to spend hours in a part of the atmosphere few people ever see.
There are photographs you plan carefully.
And then there are the accidental ones that somehow bring you right back.

A guy had been having an affair with an Italian woman for two years.
One night she says, "Honey, I'm pregnant."
The guy almost faints. He's thinking, "My marriage is over.
So he says, "Listen, I'll give you a lot of money if you go back to Italy, have the baby there, and keep everything a secret. I'll even send child support until the kid turns 18."
She says, "Okay, but how will you know when the baby's born?"
He says, "Easy. Just mail me a postcard and write one word on the back. Spaghetti. I'll know exactly what it means."
Seven months later, he comes home, and his wife says, "Honey, you got the weirdest postcard today.
He says, "Just give it to me." He reads it. His face turns ghost white. He grabs his chest and drops like he just saw his credit card bill.
His wife picks up the postcard and reads it. It says, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti. Three with meatballs, two without. Send extra sauce.
An Amazon customer in Texas was not enthused when her first drone-delivered order was dropped into her swimming pool. After hearing the loud buzzing of the drone arriving, she ran outside to record the delivery, and to her surprise, it landed in her pool.
In Alaska’s Katmai National Park, summer means an all-you-can-eat buffet for bears.
At Brooks Falls, salmon launch themselves upstream, only to land straight into waiting paws. More than 15 million people have tuned in on live cams to watch the feast — nature’s ultimate pop-up sushi bar.
I was privileged to know Gene Hackman because he played tennis with another Gene—Gene Wilder. And that Gene told him about a little role called The Blind Hermit in our movie YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. He said, “Do you think Mel would let me play it? I’ve always wanted to do a comedy.” Needless to say, I was over the moon and he was perfect.
