KANSAS CITY FED NAILED ISM MANUFACTURING PMI
May’s ISM Manufacturing PMI printed at 48.5, and the Kansas City Fed Index was nearly spot-on at 48.7 after adjusting for ISM’s methodology. This reinforces its reliability as a leading gauge, especially when regional divergences complicate national forecasting.
