@JudithLBaldwin @TheDebriefing17 Essentially the bank stablecoins are used to tokenize assets (dollars, stocks, bonds, etc.) so that can use the digital payment rails (blockchain/crypto). No risk, it's the same assets, just digitized for instantaneous settlement.

The banks will buy US Treasuries with the money (US dollars) that they have on hand. Their stablecoins will represent USD and move $ on the blockchain

@chainlink It is my understanding that since Swift was integral in the ISO20022 integration among banks to unify the messaging and ledgering, it also needed a way to include LINK and ETH as their transactions couldn't otherwise be included since they are not ISO compliant.
