Okay, I've made my decision. I'm done using Twitter. I'll probably make a more in depth statement as to why in the future, but I don't have an exact date for that yet. 1/3
I don’t know how to say this without sounding “old”, but I dislike how much this platform rewards meanness and rage. On reflection I can’t recall one time where I was actually fully happy when using this app, despite all the effort I put into curating my timeline.
I'm really grateful for all the memories and people that I have met here, but I think that for the sake of my mental health and more, I won't be here any longer. Feel free to reach out to my via Discord tho! My DM's, as of now, are always open! ❤️ 3/3

I'll still keep this account open and I may open it up every once and a while to check in on certain developments/conduct research regarding events in the VTuber community, but I won't be really using this platform beyond that. 2/3

How to Write a Commission Request
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
If you're not sure what to write when sending a commission request to an artist, here's a simple guide to help.
You can include things like:
・Character basics
・Key character traits you want the artist to keep
・Pose ideas
・Background
・Overall mood, theme, or elements
・Personality description
・Backstory
・Usage and permission requests
・Deadline or important dates
・Reference images (extremely helpful!)
The more details you provide, the easier it is for the artist to understand your vision.
But don't stress too much, many artists also enjoy creative freedom. If you're unsure, just start the conversation with an artist you like.
And don't worry about language barriers — PIPIPEN will automatically translate your request!

If this app only makes me miserable, doesn’t actively enable me to make real relationships, and doesn’t empower me to reach my goals, then what is the point of staying on this app?
I’mma seriously think over whether or not I’m going quit Twitter for real these next few days.

And of course this doesn’t even account for all of the issues surrounding bots, scams, fake/recycled posts, discoverability, and functionality that’s only worsened over time.
Oh and also the existence of the paid tiers and the problems that introduced here are also insane to me.
