@NorCalSportsNW Everything you suggest makes perfect sense. The problem is the Giants always do the opposite. What they need the most is an experienced GM with a winning track record.
I am very impressed with LJ Cryer of the GS Warriors, beyond his shot making ability, he has learned how to play PG. Also, the the game has slowed waay down for him, and now he is auditioning for a standard contract with the GS Warriors or some other NBA teams.
@Coach_Yac I would run with a blank check and raid the Dodgers front office. Billy Gasparino has put together a nice resume. And, if you want experience, why not Ned Colletti?
@Coach_Yac The bigger error was not hiring an established GM, with a winning track record, to evaluate talent. We needed someone with roster construction smarts. Cue what the Angels have just done.
@957thegame Please don’t leave out poor roster construction - the pitching staff was a mess coming into the season. Did anyone really think that this bullpen was even going to be decent?
