@waresgsbcentral Central has a nice team with competitive players that show their love of the game and competitive drive. What does the coach tell his players when they ask why they aren’t given an opportunity to resume game and beat CUW Friday morning?

@JeanVanderWert @waresgsbcentral I am truly trying to be respectful towards everyone involved and the spirit of competition in a great game. I am not in the know of all the other details involved. Maybe Central coach has legitimate scheduling reasons not to resume. Would clear up confusion for everyone.

@JeanVanderWert @waresgsbcentral Fair? 1st batter in the 6th for CUW hit solo HR to tie game. Same conditions as 5th. It was raining entire game. Umpire deemed conditions playable. good points to resume play. Central would have 2 innings on offense of good weather Friday morning. Good luck 4-2 bot 6. #Playball

@waresgsbcentral @VoiceoftheDutch Coach you’re missing the point of the frustration. CUW took the field in Bot 6. You initiated an umpire conference and called over the CUW coach. Umpire made the call. But you declined to finish the game 2 days later before your scheduled DH with CUW.

@waresgsbcentral Those are the facts, however incomplete facts. Game was suspended due to rain and field conditions. Suspended games can resume from the time in the game suspended game ended at a time that works for both teams. DH scheduled with same team 2 days later with field availability
