Time For Mark Carney To Pull A Doug Ford: Apoligise & REVERSE The Condo Bailout
It's not hard Prime Minister: Just get in front of a microphone & say:
"My Friends, the People have spoken & we are canceling the Condo Purchases, we will still achieve Affordable Housing"
2/
Poilievre calls on the feds to cancel the condo bailout, and urges developers to “lower the sale price” so units are actually affordable:
“This is another example of a tiny club of Liberal elites, billionaires, and insiders getting rich by making hardworking Canadians poor.”
Only in Canada can you wait decades trying to save money for a down payment to buy a small starter home, artificially propped up housing prices start to come down…but your own Government now competes against you & buys condos, bailouts developers & makes you a renter for life 🤡
Carneys $2.5B condo bailout should enrage everyone.
Tax payers footing the bill into developers pockets who made more money than god for many years. Now their risk fails and tax payers foot the bill.
Shame on you @MarkJCarney
Canada's new dictatorship:
Jan 26, 2026: new federal government guidelines allow permanent deletion of Fed. gov. chat messages at 15 days.
June 18th 2026: Federal government passes a law allowing access to your phone's microphone and mandatory logs of its location.
With this being the end of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC it only makes sense to post this. If you were a 90s kid like me, this is what you saw every Saturday night. The music, the intros, were as iconic as the games themselves. A very sad day.
Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day.
400 of them are now worth over $100 million.
These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries.
Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000.
Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous."
The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before.
Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.

Just plugged in a 20 year iPod nano (MA489LL).
No lag. No loading indicators. UI is practically instant. No touchscreen.
I plugged in my Bose headphones and played Black Eyed Peas like 2006 was yesterday. Just fucking worked. Incredible.
Technology has gotten worse in so many ways. Younger people have no idea.
