Also, that the ENTIRE Federal Salary is effected by freezes stemming from budget stand offs. Just a thought, since the people should be able to expect that our Government will lead by example, and suffer though the hardships often not created by the people.

Political entities currently serving or previously servered to take a reduction in pay, a cut in all compensations, and reduced or limited retirement. Maybe base it on the Military pay scale with actual time of service as a major adjustment factor.
