The council apparently had no say in the route, if so, why is it that the baton managed to visit each of the 6 towns of Sandwell? https://t.co/yXfccoBFsf
I hope for a Labour win in Coseley and across Dudley given the disdain felt by residents from the Conservative administration.
I wish Cllr Gentle all the best for the future, and thank you once again.
As we head to the polls I would like to thank our outgoing councillor, @RGentle8, who has been a brilliant councillor for Coseley East over the last four years and has been very supportive of issues in the ward and has been visible in the community, not just at election time.
Apparently this was “heavily scrutinised” ... this site is the one that The Leader of the Council also said would not be used!
The whole thing is shambolic and full of lies.
We now have tougher new powers to deal with unauthorised traveller encampments after work was completed on the temporary transit travellers site in Coseley.
The site in Budden Road is now fully operational.

A big job! Clearing up Newacre Cemetery in Coseley today. Thank you to Rev Emma, Cllr Sue Ridney, Cllr Peter Drake and all the volunteers. It’s tough for churches with v little income to look after some of the older graveyards.
A tenant on a new housing estate in Coseley hasn’t received mail for about 5/6 weeks. Asks on a local Facebook group if anyone else is having issues.
Local @bbcwm journalist jumps on the post for an interview, trying to connect it to Coronavirus.
One of our members, Emma, has wrote to the enforcement team at Dudley Council today.
There are SIGNIFICANT changes to the planning application for Budden Road compared to when they were agreed.
It MUST be stopped for safety reasons! @DudleyLabGroup
The people of the Independent State of Coseley have again been shafted by the Tory run Dudley Council.
The most investment we’ve had in years and everyone is against it.
Nice to see some proper investment going on in the south of the borough.
Cllr Zada sticking up for not only the residents of Coseley but the entire borough here tonight at the Place Scrutiny meeting about the transit site plans. @DudleyLabGroup
Disappointing. Dudley Conservative Group have backtracked on their decision regarding the transit site.
Cllr Harley has stated on more than one occasion that it WOULD NOT go ahead in Coseley. And now it is!
Happy New Year!

Just to be absolutely clear there has been no discussion with the Labour Group in Dudley about the use of Budden road and neither do we support it !!!
This is not cross party, this is the Tory Party
@DudleyNews1@ExpressandStar@robmayor
NEVER trust a Tory
They say one thing and do another.
Tomorrow the Tories in Dudley will announce Budden road as a travellers site. Caravans will be queuing up in Dudley trying to access the site as the roads can't take the load.........
