Green Watch Cosham, delivering gifts to the QA hospital neonatal ICU on Christmas morning, brought from the generous donation from The Oaks Havant Crematorium. Thanks again the Oaks. #Cosham#ChristmasDay#Portsmouth
We had struggled to raise the funds needed this year, but the Oaks Havant stepped in and made our 18th party truly memorable for the children and families that attended. Thank you the Oaks Havant Crematorium! #Havant#Cosham#Portsmouth#Christmas 2/2
Cosham fire station would like to say a massive heart felt thank you to the Oaks Havant Crematorium, for saving christmas this year. We have been holding a Christmas party for the children's unit at Queen Alexandra hospital since 2007 1/2
Never a dull moment for Blue Watch. Last night we took part in a drill consisting of Breathing Apparatus, Paratech struts for shoring and Immediate Emergency Care (IEC)
Our crews don't just attend car crashes. We're called to collisions involving cyclists, lorries, buses and e-scooter riders too. Wherever you're traveling, please take care - someone's waiting for you to get home safely πβ€οΈ

Today Blue Watch was honoured to lay a wreath at @Fort_Nelson in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our country.
We then decided to commemorate our heroes by creating a giant Poppy made from over 10 lengths of fire hose.
Blue Watch refreshed their knowledge on branch techniques this evening.
Selecting the appropriate branch setting is crucial for delivering an effective attack on the fire, adapting to the changing conditions in front of us.
Blue Watch explored the differences between a quick and effective rescue for a casualty under a car using an E-draulic spreader and Chocks & Blocks, versus a more technical rescue using Paratech & Airbags for a rescue involving a casualty under a HGV.
Yesterday Blue Watch liaised with our local scrap yard, @EMRmetal, where they kindly orientated a vehicle for us to simulate a car on its roof, so that our crews were able to practice the 'clam technique', a method used to maximise space for an efficient extrication.
Today Blue Watch visited @Be_HSDC to familiarise ourselves with the building and assess the risks within the premises. Our crews thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals within the Animal Care building.
