First they “de-barked” the puppies. That’s where they surgically remove their vocal cords, to stifle their barks and cries.

Then they introduced a parasite called Leishmania infantum to the puppies through injections.

The parasite caused significant physical pain, discomfort, and systemic suffering in the puppies.

Advanced cases caused osteolytic lesions (painful, destructive bone erosions) and neuralgia (intense nerve pain).

That’s why the scientists removed their vocal cords, so they wouldn’t have to listen to puppies bark and cry because the intense pain they felt day after day.

Then, after they tortured these sweet pups for months and months, they killed them.

First he tortured and killed puppies at the NIAID for decades. Then, he moved on to causing human suffering during Covid.

And the left still calls him “hero.”

Florida has enacted one of the strongest animal protection laws in the nation. Convicted animal abusers are now permanently banned from adopting or purchasing any pets in the state.

Governor Ron DeSantis signed Dexter’s Law in May 2025, and it took effect on January 1, 2026. The legislation closes a dangerous loophole that previously allowed people convicted of animal cruelty to own pets again after serving their sentences.

The law is named after Dexter, a rescue dog who was tragically killed by his adopter — a case that exposed critical weaknesses in the system. To prevent future tragedies, the law also establishes a statewide registry of convicted animal abusers. Shelters, breeders, pet stores, and even members of the public can now check this database before placing an animal with a potential owner.

Offenders remain on the registry for up to ten years, giving organizations a powerful new tool to screen adopters and protect vulnerable animals.

🚨Seven Steps to Election Security

1. Call up the SAVE America Act.

2. Announce that we’ll keep debating it for at least a few weeks, working through weekends and scheduled recess time until it passes.

3. Require filibustering senators to speak, with the understanding that if they fail to do so the rules allow us to “call the question” and pass it at 51.

4. Stick to the plan—especially when it draws complaints from senators and becomes tedious—waiting at least a few weeks before even thinking about filing cloture.

5. This is how the Senate worked before we zombified the filibuster, making it automatic, silent, and free of obligation.

6. Filibuster abuse has become rampant, insurmountable, and even debilitating as we’ve stopped requiring filibustering senators to do *anything* other than oppose cloture—or even simply announce an intent to oppose cloture!

7. Human nature and over two centuries of Senate history tell us that when senators are required to engage in hard work and continual speaking to sustain a filibuster, they tend to wield it more responsibly.

From Zimbabwe's renewed plans to cull more elephants, to Botswana's recent elephant slaughter for national celebrations, and reports that over 1,200 elephants could face culling in South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal province, governments are increasingly turning to lethal measures as a wildlife management tool.

These decisions are often justified in the name of managing elephant populations or protecting people, yet they overlook the latest scientific evidence and fail to recognise the immense social, ecological and ethical consequences of killing these intelligent, sentient animals.

Elephants are not simply numbers to be managed. They are highly social beings, living in close-knit family groups, with each individual playing an important role in the wider herd and ecosystem.
