When this is talking about AoT I can understand. It’s a colloquially used name in western countries.
However with something like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute, calling them Tensura or Oreimo is just more efficient.
one example of performative behavior i've noticed for years is where when a piece of japanese media has a very widely used localized name in english some fans of it will insist on using the japanese name anyway for some reason. very "place, japan" vibes
@LunarMythos085@aeolian550 I think it’s possible Tappei didn’t think things through with the Anastasia/Echidna plotline.
As far as Ana resisting gluttony. She can only do so while another controls her. Once she returns, the effects of gluttony catch up to her and I don’t think she remembers doing it.
@aeolian550@LunarMythos085 I think there’s more to it.
How does Echidna know about sand time?
Why doesn’t she share that info immediately?
Ana wanted to go to the tower alone, but has no way to deal with witchbeasts?
Ana doesn’t fully trust Subaru, but Echidna insisted on bringing him anyways?
It’s strange
@LunarMythos085@aeolian550 It’s likely the Od. When Subaru had his Od altered, Stella lost sight of him.
The final point you mentioned is one of the reasons Echidna and Ana are suspicious to me. I don’t know how Ana knew. They can communicate with each other, so maybe Echidna explained it? Still very odd
@PhantomEldrith@aeolian550 Sorry to be the one to spoil ya. I was hoping that with the post referring to the novels that my response wouldn’t reach the anime only fans.
Anime conventions and furry conventions have been doing this for decades now. This isn’t new nor alarming. Every 90’s-00’s weeb knows conventions are used for hookups.
