the most overrated phrase in crypto is "DYOR"
everyone says it like it's wisdom
do your own research
at first i took it seriously
i'd spend hours reading whitepapers, checking tokenomics, reading audits before touching anything
then i noticed something
the people telling me to DYOR were the same people who aped into a token an hour after some KOL tweeted about it
DYOR isn't research culture
it's a legal disclaimer dressed up as advice
nobody actually does it
they just say it so when the project rugs, they can say "well i told you to research"
the real research most people do is checking how many likes the tweet got
i stopped pretending to read whitepapers a long time ago
now i just watch what smart money wallets are doing and ask why
that's not lazy
that's actual research
DYOR became a way for people to sound responsible while doing zero work
@RallyOnChain rewards people for actually thinking, not just repeating phrases that sound smart
what's a piece of crypto advice that everyone repeats but nobody actually follows?
