@tprstly Twitter has been on life support since Space Karen took it over. I've been mostly hanging out in a few discords. I've mostly given up on social media. Half of it feels like bots and extremism. If I wanted that I'd go outside.

@67MistakeNot @agereaver @tprstly One of our work cars was a Peugeot 3008. Absolutely horrible to drive. Steering wheel was so low any normal person with legs couldn't get in properly, and the pedals were so close together I couldn't use the brake without using one of the other 2 pedals. 😂

In my neverending quest to buy a new(ish) and unusual car for me to regret buying, I found this gem.
A 2012 Vauxhall Ampera. Obviously I've hit that age where 2012 was literally 3 weeks ago.
But *look at it*. So shiny with a UI from 1994. Yes it's basically an Astra.

@GrandpaAquaman I have a 2008 Astra. 1.8 Automatic with some kind of horse power. Despite having an oil leak for at least 8 years (according to MOT history) it just keeps going, despite my best efforts.

It's loud, horribly uncomfortable, handles poorly and won't die.

But ulez is silly. It's not as bad as people make out. It merely discriminates against old cars and diesels. Lol

A 5.0l V8 Ford Mustang is ULEZ compliant. Unfortunately I can't afford one. 😂

@67MistakeNot Bit of information I found. It's electric with a range extender engine, that can also help with driving at speed, but mostly doesn't.
50 mile pure electric range, or 300 combi. 4 hour charge time with a fancy plug, 8 without. Stopped being made in 2016 I think.

Also I only found it because I saw an unusual looking vauxhall while on my way home and I was like "I've never seen that one, I must find it".
