More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs:
- They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc)
- Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans
- They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time.
- Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so
I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company
XBOX is laying off 3,200 employees, 20% of its workforce.
They are also spinning off or selling Arkane Lyon, Compulsion Games, Double Fine, Ninja Theory & Undead Labs.
REPORT: Naughty Dog and Sony were considering remaking Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, but ultimately chose to remake The Last of Us🚀
✅Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune remake was on the cards as early as 2018 or 2019
✅They started long before The Last of Us – Part I (the remake) was a thing
✅They made a “slice” of the game (the scene of Nate and Elena being attacked as they flew Sully’s plane, made with Uncharted 4 graphics, as found in TLOU2 files by data-miner “TheKempy”)
✅Sony support studio Visual Art Support Group was working on it
✅They eventually went for The Last of Us as it was the one that needed “less modernizing”
✅No info on whether they picked it up again for remake or moved on completely
What we do know is that aside from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Naughty Dog has “multiple single player projects” in the works, including one by Shaun Escayg, the director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy😎

Everyone CRYING “we do NOT need a PS6” is missing the point.
• Sony is not pausing a new console because people are emotionally attached to the PS5
• The PS5 generation is already hitting its limits
• GTA 6 is about to expose what these consoles can really do
• PlayStation Pro fans would be lucky to get 45 FPS in quality mode
• A PS6 is not about “needing” it later, it is about what games will demand next
Do you honestly think Sony is going to listen to the outcry and pause the PS6?
Because I don’t.
