@omkarjakobian@mipaltan@hardikpandya7@GautamGambhir@surya_14kumar@ashwinravi99 things just getting worse for MI, not sure of the exact reason, but I feel their bowling is below average (except that game against GT). Apart from that, they are just leaking runs and then batsmen are not able to get along with the required run rate.
Nevertheless, we can enjoy this domination of Team India, especially in this format and we look forward to the IPL 2026 now, it would be interesting to see many batting pairs together - Head and Abhishek, Seifert and Allen (probably), Salt and Virat and many more. (5/n)
India won, we are the world champions, but somehow it didn't feel that exciting. The fact that we are so dominant in this format, the win felt like just another day. No match to this Indian T20 side, infact when we lose, that feels strange. (1/n) #IndiaVsNewZealand
For other formats, yes, we usually have exciting and close games, Especially in ODIs and Tests (more), hopefully we will do better there. Maybe changes in Test squads and the fact that we lack quality backup pacers in Tests apart from Siraj and Bumrah. (4/n)
Axar Patel and his fielding in knockout matches is underrated!!
2 brilliant catches in a semi-final today and if you remember his one-handed catch against Aus in T20 World Cup 2024 !

If WI beat SA, can we not catch up with the NRR of SA given that we beat both WI and Zim (Zim by big margin)? A 3-way tie with Ind and WI in semis. The other scenario is obv is SA beats WI and we win both the matches. @cricketaakash@jatinsapru
Group 1 in Super 8s of the ICC T20 WC 2026 have all the undefeated teams: Ind, RSA, Zim and WI. It is going to be a really interesting next stage. Wonder which teams are going to make it to the semis (Ind and RSA for me)?
