I’ve been working on this for a while, but a new DLC for Silksong was announced. Because of this, I will finally share an extremely speculative and very ambitious map for Silksong post-DLC’s. It probably won’t end up THIS big, though. (Sorry for the weird picture). #SilkSong

@TomCafeConLeche Definitely my least favorite fight in the game out of the nine of fought so far. Maybe it’s a skill issue, but I could not dodge his run attack at all. There’s like no telegraph at all. Not to mention if you’re in a corner and there’s lava around you- good luck.

@ImMayBea Yeah, this game’s got the strangest difficulty I’ve ever seen in a game. 6 hours in and I’ve died 40 or so times. Around 5 of my deaths have been to the bosses. The difficulty balances is a off in this game lmao

@snowyborne I disliked SS’s runbacks at first, but I think that I’ve grown to appreciate them for what they are. Silksong doesn’t just test your reaction time and your ability to learn, etc. It also tests your will. Runbacks are not there just to annoy you. They are a test of will.

@king_of_games34 Sounds about right. I have my own grievances with this game, but I don’t get what the point is complaining about a game being too hard when there are accessibility settings to fix that. They need to let go of their egos.

@PhanTum926 100%. I used to be so influenced by what journalists say, and while their views can line up with mine every so often, I’ve learned that I should form my own opinions first before I come to any conclusions based off of what others say.

@JeanFeliz_ It has souls game elements, but It’s not really a soulslike imo. It has a few similarities, but not enough imo to consider it a soulslike.

@arfa2706 @almightyahmad I think it’s a necessary evil. It’s annoying, but idk if tedious is the right word. I still think stunned enemies should only do 1 mask, though.

@deligore123 Nine Sols is generally harder, but I think if we were talking specifically about Act 3 then I’d say Silksong is harder.

@laizark Yeah, and it feels even more like I’m robbing them because they’ve stated this game’s financial success will be a make or break for their Yacht Club 😢
I don’t think TC was in a make or break with SS like they are.

@YachtClubGames Went back to Shovel Knight (on Xbox series x) to play the dlcs. I got through 3/4’s of plague of shadows only to have all my save files gone the next day. Shit happens I guess.

@playismJP Rusted Moss was such a cool and unique Metroidvania with a high skill ceiling. Glad there making a sequel… or just a spin-off?

@dr_ordis Yeah, not all the criticism is based on difficulty. From what I’ve seen, most of criticism is difficulty related, but there are other criticisms that have great reasons behind them. Not that I necessarily agree with them, but I can understand it from their perspective.

@mqlldj12 @Avixxionn Yeah, I waited for the game for 5 years, and then it came out and liked it, but didn’t love it. I just felt different. A week or so after I 100% it, I accepted its differences and enjoyed the game for what it was rather than what it was in comparison to HK.

@BlueGoesFast These are lowkey really good games as a whole. I haven’t played Dead Island 2, and I never got into RDR2, but the others are peak imo
