@cosmoslabs_io@BPIV400@0xMagmar@qxnico@RoboMcGobo The Mintscan team has been part of the Cosmos story from the beginning, as community members, developers, and operators who helped shape what Cosmos is today.
Read what Yongjoo Jung, Head of Engineering at CLK, had to say about joining Cosmos Labs.

A new journey begins.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Mintscan over the years. I'm excited to continue building for the Cosmos ecosystem as part of Cosmos Labs.
Big news for the Cosmos Hub community and the ecosystem ⚛️
Cosmos Labs is acquiring @mintscanio.
Select team members are joining the Ecosystem team to accelerate the Cosmos Hub roadmap and steward the infrastructure the ecosystem runs on, including Skip:Go, IBC Eureka, and Mintscan.
@cosmoslabs_io@BPIV400@0xMagmar@qxnico@RoboMcGobo The acquisition of the Mintscan product suite and the formation of Cosmos Labs Korea mark a significant step for Cosmos.
Nico Poggi @qxnico, CMO shares his thoughts on what this means for everyone involved.

Cosmos keeps growing and evolving.
From finding new strength in serving world-scale financial institutions, to the shape of DeFi changing over the last few years, as the line between DeFi <> TradFi becomes blurrier than ever.
At the center of this world sits the Cosmos Hub and IBC, which, more than ever, have a place in stitching this new world of finance together.
But it’s more than that. It’s Skip:Go, Mintscan, IBC Eureka, and many other key pieces that need to be in peak form for the ecosystem to take advantage of this new world.
They have to be in order to support these new chains, to tap into these new markets appearing around them (RWAs, tokenization, on-chain trad-markets), and to ask:
How can we better connect, distribute, and grow these markets?
As @RoboMcGobo said, we are committing to resourcing both sides of this opportunity, ecosystem and enterprise. We are excited to do that by bringing Mintscan and part of its team over to Cosmos Labs. Together, we’ll work together on answering that question.
Mintscan (@mintscanio) has a special history in Cosmos, and its team has been contributing way before the Hub was around. At the center of governance and all the core infrastructure that has powered Cosmos’ growth... we couldn’t think of a better team to join the Ecosystem team at Cosmos Labs to drive engineering, product, and growth together with us.
Their leadership brings massive amounts of energy over, and will help us protect the products that are most important to the ecosystem, as well as accelerate all work across the Hub and ATOM ecosystem.
I couldn’t be happier to be working alongside @RoboMcGobo, @yongjoojung, @gyunit_ and the entire team joining.
-Nico
This is HUGE.
Cosmos will now have:
-> A strong presence & investment in Korea
-> Longevity for Mintscan
-> A cracked engineering team focused on the Hub
Welcome to the team, @mintscanio!
Hear directly from @cosmoslabs_io co-CEO @BPIV400 on what this means and where the ecosystem goes from here.
The community has also been discussing the announcement, and the conversation is worth following.

I've spent the better part of a year arguing that Cosmos is the right place for institutional finance and public DeFi to collide. Today we're putting new resources behind that.
Cosmos Labs is acquiring Mintscan and welcoming 15+ new team members from Mintscan into our Ecosystem unit, operating as Cosmos Labs Korea Co., Ltd. I want to take a moment to say what this actually means to me beyond what the blog post covers.
1/ I’m thrilled to work with the team. Una Yu (“Grace”), Yongjoo Jung, and the other leaders are die-hard supporters of our technology, values, and ecosystem. They have been running critical infrastructure across 150+ Cosmos blockchains under real operational pressure at production scale for 8 years. Bringing them in means inheriting years of hard-won operational knowledge and a team that already knows and loves the ecosystem and its users.
2/ I’m excited that Cosmos finally has an on-the-ground presence in Korea. Korea is where Cosmos achieved its earliest and deepest network effects. It is also, right now, one of the fastest-moving markets in the world for tokenization and institutional crypto adoption. Having the CLK team there feels like Cosmos is finally “coming home” and changes the conversations we can have with enterprises in Asia.
3/ This gives us the resources to go after a bigger and more exciting vision for the Cosmos Hub as the crossroads for institutional finance and permissionless DeFi. There are already tens of billions of dollars of real-world assets tokenized across Cosmos ledgers from Injective, Figure, Ripple, and others. Almost every major player in capital markets, banking, and payments is racing to launch their own tokenization engine too. We have an opportunity to create products and markets that connect all of these and allow value to flow across them. It’s never been a better time to bet on interoperability.
Excited to build with this team.
