One thing I’d love to see more cosplayers, especially competitive cosplayers, focus on is ✨fit✨. I see so many costumes both online and when I’m judging that are made from beautiful materials with wonderful embellishments, but the base garments do not fit them well 🥲

Advice to beginners who want to start competing in cosplay contests:
Read the rules, then read them again. If something isn't covered ask questions. If you don't get a timely response follow up. If something is covered and you don't like it, maybe this isn't the contest for you.
