@RinoTheBouncer I do agree with this sentiment. Whilst innovation and risks with new IPs help the industry grow, companies shouldn’t forget where they came from, the legacy IPs that made them what they are today.

Whilst I k is it’s too early and commercial performance would dictate it, I hope some dlc /expansion is/are released. Maybe an endless mode or boss rush etc

@RinoTheBouncer I’m curious what the design philosophy is around having a game such as Resident Evil Requiem have two different perspectives. I assume they are swappable in game from a menu. But what I’m curious about is game, character, enemy pacing. Does the perspective swap impact scariness?

@SynthPotato Mid cycle refreshes are just another thing developers have to cater for. Just go back to the standard 6-7 year cycles. Also means that with each gen, the enhancements are more pronounced.

But I can see how they will just manipulate customer intent by grouping all physicals into one category and indicating poor physical sales, even though game key carts are the cause of that. Ultimately leading to a “better” case for digital only.
