What frustrates me the most is the loss of critical thinking of those in power. How was pretending that biology wasn’t real ever going to work out well? Or ignoring that bad men will use bad rules to do bad things & ignoring that it was always going to be women paying the price for stupidity.
Unherd has published an important piece by @polblonde in which she raises serious questions about the government’s handling of the Pathways puberty blocker trial. If reports are accurate that a minister who voiced safeguarding concerns was stripped of responsibility for the trial, the public deserves to know why.
