You are a slot corner with outside leverage, why slip inside with a vertical release. U have to be mentally strong enough to understand you have a free safety in between the hashes, even in 1on1's coaches know where your help would be. But losing to your leverage is a major NO NO

That wr had a inside stem on his release, he has to honor that in case of curl or dig by him. Smart to have that stem to occupy the backside safety so he cant push to the post until after he broke out.
