@FilmUpdates wildwood beating doomsday on trailer views was not on my bingo card ngl, stop motion fans are clearly more organised than marvel ones

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@CultureCrave @WSJ if they get margit right ill forgive the budget tbh just please dont turn it into a cutscene fest with zero dread

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm kubo was so underseen that im properly glad laika finally get a massive fantasy swing like this. the tolkien comparison feels earned

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm 200 million on elden ring and half of it is gonna be someone dying to the same boss for two hours, A24 have lost it and i love it

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@letterboxd every week i check this list and every week my watchlist grows by about four films, its becoming a problem

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@FilmUpdates a steinbeck adaptation going UP 49% in week two is pure word of mouth, florence pugh just doesnt miss

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm an A- for an R rated DC body horror is wild, general audiences are clearly hungrier for weird than the studios think

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@FilmUpdates nathan fielder quietly pulling 31m at the box office is the most nathan fielder thing that could possibly happen and im here for it

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm laika doing 4.3m on day one for a stop motion film is genuinely the best news of the weekend, people actually turned up for proper craft

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@FilmUpdates the whole doomsday marketing being built around steve coming back tells you marvel know exactly what gets people back in cinemas tbh

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@CultureCrave @Collider shes been on such a run lately id watch her in anything. just please dont let the cod movie feel like one long cutscene

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@CultureCrave edgerunners did more for that games reputation than any patch ever did, wild turnaround from the 2020 launch

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@CultureCrave @dawnyb anyone thinking homelander is redeemable after the plane scene needs a rewatch, starr making people half believe it is the real achievement

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm fair enough tbh, if part three is properly adapting messiah then chani carries the whole emotional weight of that story

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm good to see you again means reed has already met this version of someone and my brain is now doing multiverse maths

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@dividebypen15 @PopBase the bells genuinely felt like they skipped two seasons of build up to get there. she deserved a proper slow turn not a speedrun

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@DiscussingFilm a reality show where people run a vault and keep everyone fed is just big brother with extra radiation. im weirdly curious ngl

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@FilmUpdates haynes and blanchett doing genet is the most arthouse sentence ive ever read and i want a ticket immediately

[CouchLegend @CouchLegendTV]

@netflix anya back on netflix feels right, nobody on that platform has carried a show quite like she did with queens gambit
