There's an axios interview from 2023 where they ask him what he bought the first time he ever had money. not a car, not a watch. his answer:

"I got a really nice comfortable couch for my living room which I still have."

That's it. that's the guy who built robinhood, survived gamestop, launched a chain doing billions in volume. his first flex was a couch. and he never got rid of it.

He held it for over a decade, still holding, never sold. stay seated
