"Two big reasons students leave school are that they have no meaningful connection to an adult in the building, and no one knows their name or how to pronounce it." Learn how this school builds connection throughout the entire campus. https://t.co/ifqunSbnz0
Cougars enjoyed JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT'S "IT'S MY FUTURE" SYMPOSIUM." Cougars collaborated with students from other CMS Middle Schools to develop business proposals, examine careers, and employability skills. Way to go Cougars!
We are grateful for having such a wonderful guest today. Mrs. Hull, founder of Andy Hull's Sunshine Foundation, delivered a powerful message of love, encouragement, suicide awareness and prevention, most importantly reminding our students that they matter. Thank you!
We stand with our Ardrey Kell Knights! CMS will continue to have additional counselors on campus today and in the days ahead. @ArdreyKellHS will wear black on Friday to show solidarity during this difficult time. CMS family, let's show our support by wearing black on Friday, too.
Special thanks to Church of Charlotte for honoring Carmel's School Counselors with a lovely token of appreciation for all they do for Carmel's students, staff, familes, and the community. Happy National School Counselor Week.
Congrats to the Warriors Team and Ms. Fingers Home room for winning the Carmel's Holiday and Literacy Door Decorating Competition. Their theme was based on the book Christmas Makes Me Think by Tony Medina. Good job Cougars!
Students received special treats and tips to help them unwind over the Winter Break. Students then took time to share their own tips for a Stress-free Winter Break. Good job Cougars!
