P4B had a lot of fun with symmetry today. We challenged ourselves to make symmetrical patterns with one or two lines of symmetry here are a few great examples.
Today we used a lot of problem solving and team work to create free standing Christmas Trees. We only had two sheets of paper and 4 lollypop sticks. Mrs Coull-Hayes was so impressed with how many different ideas there were. Can you see yours?
Today we learnt about Buddhism. We made our own Zen Gardens. Ask us what is important to put in a zen garden and why it is important to Buddhists. ๐
P4B have had a great time making our door design. We collected, printed and painted leaves to create our design and I think you will agree it looks very similar to the book cover. Ask us what the story is about! ๐

P4b learnt all about tessellation today. We searched for repeating patterns in the playground and then had a go at making our own. Can you find any more examples at home?
P4B have been out in the sunshine taking part in some athletics. We have been working hard on our balance and control while jumping so hopscotch was some great practise!
Today we met The Learning Team and discussed what type of learner we might be. Ask us if we are resilient, reflective, resourceful or if relationships help us learn. Some of us thought we were a mixture of a few!
P4B have been learning about Henri Matisse. Matisse was famous for โpainting with scissorsโ and today we had a go at doing the same. Ask us what we made.
P4B have had great fun reading the book After The Fall. We designed paper planes to go along with the story and flew them this afternoon. Ask us what animal we created.
