Today our National Network of Older People's Council met in the @LGMAIreland to say farewell to our Chair Kitty Hughes and to congratulate and welcome our new Chair Ita Healy.
Kitty has done amazing work for Age Friendly throughout the years, paving the way for the incoming Chair. We would like to thank Kitty for all her wonderful work and for her dedication in all things Age Friendly.

The @LGMAIreland has announced an upgrade to the MapRoad Asset Management System to capture national data on Active Travel infrastructure, projects and programmes. This will provide data on #cycling and #pedestrian networks and help with future project management. #activetravel

Several people are injured following an explosion at a service station in Co Donegal. Emergency and Search & Rescue services are at the scene at Creeslough. A fleet of ambulances, fire crews, an Irish Coast Guard Helicopter & the Mulroy Coast Guard team have responded. #Donegal
