Supporting kids in St. Catharines, one lunch at a time 🍎🥪
I’m proud to support Community Crew, an organization providing over 4,500 healthy lunches every week to children in 33 schools throughout the Niagara Region, including right here in St. Catharines.
Together with @st.catharinesjra, and with the support of Councillor @councillormatt Matt Harris and Councillor Joe Kushner, we raised $3,000 during the NLL exhibition game featuring the @nllbandits and @vegasdesertdogs earlier this year.
In addition, $2,000 from my SCORE fund was presented to help provide lunches for children in St. Catharines schools.
A huge thank you to Community Crew for the incredible work they’re doing and for my Chief of Staff and Councillor Mark Stevens for rolling up their sleeves to help pack lunches every Thursday. 🥪👏

Paul Bernardo should never ever be released and we should stop having bail hearings that continue to victimize the families of his victims and many others. Even now he is said to be a high risk to reoffend. He should be in custody until he dies. Full stop.
