College representative visits begin Aug. 25 during lunch & after school in the College & Career Center. Sign up on your Naviance account & check weekly for new college visits. All grades welcome!
Students will be able to sign up for a 1:1 counselor meeting. Any student who is not in Gov/ Econ or who is absent should attend the make-up meeting on Thursday, Sep. 3rd from 2:45-3:45pm in G-9.
The counseling Department will conduct classroom presentations on August 26th & 27th during Gov/Econ classes. Topics include OPHS procedures for finalizing college lists & deadlines, requesting & sending school materials to colleges, using Naviance in the process.
College Essay Workshops, sponsored by the OPHS PFA: Tuesday, May 27, Wednesday, May 28, and Friday, May 30 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm online. An additional College Supplemental Essay workshop will take place on September 9.
The County of Ventura is hosting their 2nd Annual Youth Volume Up Expo, a youth co-created event designed by youth, for youth—to celebrate youth joy, amplify their voices, and create space for shared learning. Saturday, May 17, from 10 AM – 3 PM at the Camarillo Community Center!
