One of my favorite things we do is our new student lunches! Our first group today was 3rd grade! What great kids!!!! #SwenkeProud #CFISDspirit

Our first new student lunch was with our 5th graders today! We loved getting to meet them and spend some time getting to know them! #swenkeProud #cfisdSpirit #deepintheheartofswenke

Each time I meet with students, whether individually or in a group, I am reminded of my ‘why’-lifting, building, restoring, supporting, and empowering. Nothing can describe the emotion that comes with knowing your purpose and then actually living it, and for that I am grateful.❤️

[Stephanie Gable, M.Ed. @CounselorGable]

Getting to know students as individuals is integral to the process of working together as a whole. It is only through understanding each student’s needs, wants, and purposes of specific behaviors that a true community is built within a classroom and within a campus.

[Stephanie Gable, M.Ed. @CounselorGable]

We all know that actions speak louder than words. With this, are we being intentional with every single thing we do? We must remember to not only tell our children we care but also ‘show’ them by giving individual, positive attention they naturally need for emotional health.❤️

Beginning a new school year is exciting! It can also be challenging! The good news is that each challenge brings opportunity for hope through productive conversation. As we all move forward, we can positively impact our students’ lives by focusing on the “good” of each day! ❤️

Yesterday brought the first day of school and a GREAT start to the year! I work with exceptional people who made things happen in an extraordinary way, and guess what?!? They’ll do it again today and the next day and the next and the next... 💙🐾 #Swenkeproud #CFISDspirit

As a school counselor, I still hold this dear to my heart. Though I may no longer teach writing skills, I certainly strive to teach students how to grasp hold of a dream and the means of bringing it into fruition, despite any of life’s circumstances.💙 #Godknows #dreamsareHisidea

[Stephanie Gable, M.Ed. @CounselorGable]

In a few days, we will see students in our schools again, entrusted to us perhaps not in the usual fashion but in an extraordinary sense. I am honored to fulfill this blessed role in the lives of our children and their families.💙 #SwenkeProud #CFISDspirit
