Despite the title, my biggest takeaway was not about billionaires. It was about the influential role South African big business played in the lead-up to democracy and why some BEE beneficiaries built enduring success while others did not.

A thought-provoking read on power, capital, networks and transformation. It is most definitely worth reading. 🇿🇦📚
