I can finally reveal the map I had commissioned of the Homeworld of House Sindri from my @Modiphius#Dune game.
Map was done by @FeedMultiverse
Incorporating the House crests by my my player @Jashyr
The high res version I have is amazing in its detail!

@TheReal1000Gex I understand and completely agree with the BG being gender locked for lore reasons, but I didn't think that mentats had such a restriction upon them in the novels.
@Gamrok I've given up on playing early access games.
If I like the concept I'll purchase it in early access to boost the developers (especially if they are indies) but I haven't got the patience to essentially act as a playtester for them.
@TSoS_ "Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them"
@DuneInfo This was one of the first games I actually bought. (I think Civ I just beat it).
I had recently discovered the books and being able to throw myself into the world was amazing.
And of course Stephane Picq's haunting ornithopter music was so memorable.
@DungeonNoir I enjoyed playing it.
It helps we had a very experienced GM.
He runs it a lot at conventions and it always seems to go down well.
Personally I actually like the dice. It stops me being able to run probability in my head when I look at a handful of dice
@GodotIsW8ing4U@memeticsisyphus I did have a colleague who believed in several mutually incompatible conspiracy theories.
When I pointed this out to him he just glossed over it and moved on.
Running a D&D game (actual D&D, it's been so long) for a group of kids at the store.
This is their first RPG experience and I'm loving seeing their wonder as they get into it.
Note: D&D char gen is so clunky. Give me a different RPG any day.
I'll broaden their horizons one day.
@LawrenceOfDune Have you ever tried to play the game?
I tried it a few times at uni (still have the cards in the loft) but we never managed to really grasp the mechanics
@robmuadib@DungeonNoir@NKGames It is a wonderful book.
I ran it back in University and it is where I found my feet as a GM.
The only other person I know who has run a campaign with it was the project manager of the Modiphius Dune RPG.
