The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a heartfelt statement following the death of Edward Pettifer at age 31. The stepson of William's former nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke. was one of 14 people killed in the New Orleans terror attack on New Year's Day. Tiggy was Prince William and Harry's nanny from 1993 to 1999, and the families are still close.
Tonight, The King and Queen hosted a State Banquet for The Amir and Sheikha Jawaher of the State of Qatar, and approximately 150 guests in the Ballroom at Buckingham Palace.
Guests are usually invited based on their cultural, diplomatic or economic links to the country being hosted.
