@garyseconomics what if there is a third way of generating income. the government runs a £1.4 trillion annual
budget saving just 1% generates £14 billion. Slippage on a budget this size must be huge. Auditing will build accountability into the system.
@EdConwaySky@andyburnham@obr@bankofengland A tesco can lose £40,000 a month in slippage how much does the government loses on a 1.4T annual budget. audit government spending like a private company make governments & MPs accountable for loses. the moneys there it’s just lost by incompetence & corruption. 1% =14billion
@Telegraph when was the last time a prime minister even did a full term? the political class are responsible for systemic incompetence erosion of democracy and the acceptance of corruption. no point taxing more without greater political accountability point the finger at yourselves first.
@LogicalThesis what a great opportunity for iran and china to dictate terms on 20% of the worlds energy could turn out to be the greatest loss in history, can’t be true, its all or nothing now for trump
@KobeissiLetter sounds like trump admitting defeat and realising he can’t do everything he said. What an opportunity for iran and china to price 20% of energy in Yuan for safe passage, interesting to see what happens and the fall guy is …… what a trade off for losing a war
