Welcome to the Countess of Chester Country Park - a beautiful green space managed & maintained by the Land Trust in partnership with The Conservation Volunteers
@CanalRiverTrust have reported a canal breach north of the park, which they are working to repair. There is no immediate concern of flooding in the park, but it has meant the stream in the park has risen and the path from the canal to the old dipping platform is flooded.

We are really grateful to Pete Simcoe of @simcoemedia for giving up hours of his time to produce this wonderful drone video of the Countess of Chester Country Park

It has been reported to us that an Armani watch with a blue face and a silver strap has been lost either, in the country park, or nearby. If you have any information about this, please contact our @TCVMerseyside Park Ranger, Neil McMahon, at [email protected]
The Country Park is really starting to wake up. The buds on our trees are ready to burst & Spring flowers like these Snowdrops in the Nature Reserve planted by @TCVMerseyside volunteers are in full bloom. A gentle reminder to heed the request on the signs & keep any dogs on leads
We are aware that genuine visitors to the park have been frustrated by some drivers using it who shouldn't have. The ticket payment terminal has now been repaired and is fully operational. Furthermore there will now be more checks by the security team during the day.
Thank you to all who have been partners in this very special event at the beginning of a significant year. We will be making space in our car park for those attending.

@standardchester For the record, the warning was two days ago, it has now been removed. However, there is likely to still be deep water in the lower parts of the park so please avoid and don't attempt to paddle through. Should you have dog we recommend you keep it on a lead.
Please check out our latest newsletter, lots to read about including, on Sun 1st December by the Country Park car park:

The forecast overnight (Tues/Wed 19th/20th Nov) is for freezing temperatures. Please take extra care on the footpaths on our site as there is likely to be a lot of icy patches, especially where last night's snow has melted and then frozen over.
Only THREE weeks left until this years photography competition closes! We want to see all the sights you have captured throughout the year or head out to a Land Trust green space and take a picture of something new! For full details head to https://t.co/KVVuneiB5S...
