@AndrewGeorbr@andrewc44104127 Incorrect. Like it or not Burnham had a job in publishing prior to becoming a parliamentary researcher & he didn't lose his seat: he resigned it so that he could stand for mayoral election.
@benonwine A little? £325k + £175k for property. If you are married, you inherit your partners' IHT allowance upon their death: that equates to £1 million IHT allowance. That's not a little.
@1Marylebone Soho has been at the centre of London nightlife for over 150 years. If you live there now, you knew what you were letting yourself in for when you moved in.
@benonwine Today's attack has nothing to with Labour. The attacker was given ILR when Braverman was Home Secretary & Jenrick was Immigration Minister.
@LucyTCWife But the thing is Lucy, you googled it, you checked.
Those thugs in Southampton would dream of doing that & Farage knows it. They saw it as a call to arms: exactly as Farage meant it to be.
@LeeAndersonMP_ It's going to be great to see you do well.
Based on the shambles in your current councils, running more just gives you 3 years to prove you're not fit for government.
@tim_newling@LeeAndersonMP_@richardh_83@reformparty_uk She's applying scrutiny. Nothing more. All new MPs must declare any donations made in the 12 months prior to being elected. Farage didn't declare the £5 million. You'd be up in arms if it were Starmer or Rayner.
@LeeAndersonMP_ Ah... that's only quitting the voluntary scheme.
They can't quit asylum dispersal (where the Home Office arranges accommodation for those already in the UK).
Tell the whole truth.
@LeeAndersonMP_ Oh Lee...what you fail to mention is the cap on benefits.
The max a couple can receive outside London is £1,835 a month or in London £2110.25, neither of which equate to £50k per annum.
Google is really useful.
@Councillorsuzie Democracy Volunteers found that 12% of the votes cast in Runcorn & Helsby were down to family voting. Reform won the by-election by 6 votes. It would appear that Farage only cares about it when he doesn't win.
