There is a lot of information circulating about the cost of special education and how it should be funded by the state. I have attached a document that helps outline the cost of special education in Butler County.
Disappointed in the public school bashing at the #ksleg. Public schools are expensive because they provide for such a variety of need. My sons teachers and therapists…he’s expensive and is definitely not improving state test scores. Still worth the cost. #fullyfundsped

Ashly Roberson at Seal Elementary has an incentive program that keeps kids excited! Whenever a student fills his/her chart by demonstrating leadership behavior (completing work, positive attitude, kindness) then he/she gets to pop a balloon for a surprise reward! #bcsbc638

Marcia Base and Claire Mossman's class at Andover Middle School participated in a breakout EDU for The Polar Express. Afterward, the students got a ticket to watch the movie, eat popcorn and drink Polar Express hot chocolate! How fun!!!!
