This book is from my library’s book club section. Decided to make my through the collection a hefty bit as I have already read a couple of other good ones from that collection - and so far no crispy pages books in there, either …. Last book club one was *Basilica* about how Vatican City was built (talent, ego, and rivalry among Popes and premier artists alike)
My English DNA fixation led me to a true crime paperback at how the Golden State Killer was found through … you guessed it … DNA via law enforcement working with an amateur DNA sleuth of all things #theReadingMFT
@MatthewCoast Possibly unless it’s both people. Then I tend to think something will happen. I think if people have gotten it “out of their system” it’s a lot more do-able. Just my imperfect take.
Read relationship books. Embody them. The Sound Relationship House. Hold Me Tight conversations. Neurobiological co-regulation. All of it. I’d scream from Everest none of it is WOO-WOO like too many people think.
Maybe something suggested doesn’t work for your particular relationship quite as described. If you’re both content, you’re content, and that still doesn’t make relationship science WOO-WOO.

You must read. Read nonfiction. Read fiction. Read history. Read philosophy. Read psychology. Read banned literature. Read poetry. Read about new technology. Read biography. Read memoir. Read on economics. Read on finance. Reread what you have already read. Read. Reflect. Repeat.
Maybe a relationship felt safe once upon a time-- & maybe it doesn't anymore. You're not "crazy"-- relationships that fed us once upon a time can poison us now. Sometimes we outgrow even cherished relationships.
Sustainable recovery requires us to be realistic about it all.
