Given the magnitude 7.5 earthquake southeast of Yumare, Venezuela, many observers have noted an apparent lack of significant aftershocks compared to what is typically expected following an event of this size. Can USGS explain whether aftershocks are occurring but not yet reflected in public catalogs, and whether the doublet nature of the M7.2 and M7.5 earthquakes may have altered the expected aftershock sequence? Additionally, does the current seismic activity suggest that stress was largely released during the main rupture, or is there still an elevated risk of a significant M6+ aftershock or triggered activity on adjacent fault segments?

As a father, I teach my children that competition should be fierce, but it should also be fair. Watching the WNBA, I have tremendous respect for the skill, dedication, and sacrifices these women make to play at the highest level. That is why inconsistent officiating concerns me.
When flagrant fouls appear to be missed, similar plays are called differently from game to game, or player safety seems secondary to the flow of the game, it sends the wrong message. These athletes deserve the same standard of protection, professionalism, and consistency that we expect in any elite sport.
Protecting women athletes is not about making the game softer. It's about ensuring that dangerous plays are identified, rules are applied consistently, and every player has confidence that their safety matters regardless of their name, popularity, or jersey.
I want to see women athletes celebrated for their talent, not placed at unnecessary risk because officials fail to consistently enforce the rules. When games begin to resemble street-ball rather than professional basketball, the league has a responsibility to step in. Consistent officiating and accountability are not optional, they are fundamental to protecting the athletes and preserving the integrity of the WNBA.

@MCCCANM I been in 3 engine out water landings (crashed) SH-3; and narrowly avoided a UH-1 into the woods by having to write evaluations. I try to avoid them unless I need more ammo or a medevac.
@LeighWolf@KatiePavlich@AaronBlake lol. I had the same problem for about 10 years. Then one day the California Franchise Tax Board hit me up with fines and penalties for not filing taxes with California. I was a documented resident of Florida. It took almost 2 years to correct that problem.

@Watchman_motto When this picture was taken, there was probably 20 million people that lived in California. There are an estimated 14 million people living inside LA county alone on 2026.
FYI, Kids, we are overwhelmed at the no-fly list desk . 14 CFR §121.580: No one may assault, threaten, intimidate, or interfere with a crewmember doing their job. Period. @thomasbsauer We lost this battle when every E-7 & above was allowed to wear brown shoes. Any SWO wearing brown shoes is not worth his weight in salt.
