As the mountains thaw because of climate change, rocks are coming loose from the ice, increasing the risk of injury or death for even the most experienced mountaineers. My latest story for @outsidemagazine

"I don’t have a lot of practical skills. I know this because I made a list of things I know how to do in case modern society crumbles: 'pretty good at slacklining' and 'can decipher the precise citrus notes in an IPA' made the cut." https://t.co/gU8dlRfYux
The last podcast shout out is for @thefirnline - stumbled across this podcast back in 2018 and loved it. If you like stories from the mountains and people that go there- this is for you. Also some GREAT music from Evan (the host)
Another favourite wilderness medicine podcast of mine is @outsidemagazine ‘s series “Science of Survival” back in 2017- well worth scrolling back to listen to!
