🚨 THIS IS EXACTLY WHY SO MANY OF US ARE SICK OF IT.
Two young British girls on a night out, visibly scared.
A bloke notices something isn’t right, walks over and starts asking if they’re okay. He checks whether the men hanging around them are actually WITH them.
The girls say NO.
One of the men is stood outside the club in jogging bottoms. The girls look terrified.
So this stranger refuses to just walk past and mind his own business. He stays with them and tells the men straight:
STOP HARASSING GIRLS.
And afterwards? The girls THANK him for stepping in.
This is what women and girls are dealing with.
A night out. Walking to a mate’s. Going to the shops. Getting home at night. Constantly looking over your shoulder and wondering whether that bloke following you is going to leave you alone.
And apparently we’re supposed to pretend nobody can see what’s happening?
We’re not “imagining” it.
WE’RE LIVING IT.
When are people going to stop pretending everything is fine?
Massive credit to the man who saw two frightened young women and actually DID something instead of walking away. 👏🇬🇧
More men like this.

Gisèle Pelicot’s rapist who appealed his sentence because “he didn’t think being called a rapist is fair as he didn’t know she was sedated” got his sentence increased from 9 to 12yrs. Play stupid games, win worse prizes! So happy for him, for getting what he deserves. 🥳🥳🥳
Gisèle Pelicot is on the stand today and asked about her decision to continue using the surname "Pelicot".
Gisèle explains that when the trial began her children were "ashamed" of the name.
She adds: "I have grandchildren who are called that.
"Today, I want them to be proud of their grandmother.
"My name is known across the world now. They shouldn't be ashamed of carrying that name.
"Today we will remember Gisèle Pelicot."
Yes we will. What a woman.

I cannot fathom the feeling of the women who came forward about their sexual assault at the hands of Trump. Seeing millions of people vote for their abuser.
My heart absolutely breaks for these women. I believe you, and I am so sorry.
The face of the most extraordinary courage, fired by righteous anger and powered by a strong sense of justice for all women and girls.
We all owe a debt to Gisele Pelicot for her bravery and grace.
If there’s any fibre of your being, that thinks doing this to the community that is already in mourning of those children, is in any way helpful & a step towards “getting your country back” then you have well and truly lost your fucking mind.
The most tiring thing about adulting to me is how CONSTANT it is.
There is ALWAYS some shit to sort out. you're chilling' means you're probably just ignoring the million things on your to-do list.
I am so protective over this current version of me. It took a lot of mental, emotional, and spiritual work for me to get to this stage. So if I come off as if I’m too good for certain people, situations, events, conversations, whatever…it’s because at this point in my life I am.
